A: The DIO port of PE-1000 series is controlled by SMbus , please find the SMbus base address on the vice manager. Default device id is 0x40. And we reverse 3 jumps to adjust the device id.

ARS-1000 series is integrated with VGA display and LVDS output. These two display units are output synchronous. LVDS output needs additional hardware, such as LCD Panel, LVDS Cable, Backlight.

Q:  I have use a DVI to HDMI converter , but I cant get any sound output from my LCD TV.    And I change to DP.A or DP.B , I cant get HDMI audio work find.

A: RCS-7000 is QM77 platform that supports three independent display ports with digital audio line. But the HDMI output needs additional codec support, you can find the codec on Chipset->PCH I/O Configuration -> PCH Azalia Configuration-> Azalia HDMI Codec Port B/C/D

Q:  I have created a RAID 1 array on ECS-7000-6R, how to check which SSD was broken while system is running? Is there have any alert LED or notes we could see?

A: ECS-7000 series offers standard data backup application, you can check it on RAID console screen or RST software on Windows 7.

Q:  How to use three independent display output?

A: VGA and DVI share QM77 Display port 1 resource. DP.A uses QM77 Display port 2 and output High Res. Image. DP.B uses QM77 Display port 3 and output High Res. Image.

Q: What is “PCI simple communication device” on the Device manager ?

A: It is virtual control port of Intel ME technology , you need to install the ME driver manually. The driver package is included with MEI & SOL devices driver.
